Asus launched two new ROG Strix laptops and a new Gaming Notebook

Taiwanese tech giant Asus has added three new laptops to its Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming laptop lineup including two special editions. Asus has upgraded its ROG laptops with LED displays and precision trackpads for gaming.

While the ROG Strix Hero Edition is built for MOBA games, the ROG Strix Scar Edition is promoted for its precision shooting trackpad. The third addition is a Notebook, the Asus FX503, added to the Asus Gaming lineup. All these new additions are gaming laptops and come with premium features.

Asus ROG Strix Hero Edition Specifications

Starting with the ROG Strix Hero Edition, this machine from Asus packs some premium gaming punch. It is equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS-level panel with 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a backlit Chiclet keyboard with dedicated Hot Keys.

In terms of specifications, the laptop is backed by an Intel Core i7 processor. It is coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB / 6GB GDDR5 VRAM. With a 512GB SSD and a 1TB HDD, smooth performance is ensured. It is a VR ready gaming machine with 3.5 hours of battery life.

Coming to specifications, this machine is equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor. It is coupled with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB GDDR5 VRAM. With all the essential ports intact, the laptop gives a 3 hour battery life at max performance settings.
