Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched two new mid-range smartphones, the Oppo A75 and Oppo A75s in Taiwan. While both devices come with similar specfications, they differ in terms of memory.
As these phones are introduced in Taiwan, we expect them to soon be available in India as well. The two devices from Oppo come with 6-inch displays, 4GB RAM, and an Helio P23 processor from MediaTek. The phones are available in Champagne and Black colors.
Oppo A75, A75s Specifications
Talking about the specifications of these smartphones, they’re both mid-range offerings from Oppo and come with a similar hardware. Both the device sport a 6-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
Coming to optics, the devices are equipped with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash. A 20MP selfie-camera adores the front, justifying the selfie-centric approach from Oppo. Both the phones come with the same camera setup.
Coming to specifications now, this is where the Oppo A75 and A75s vary in terms of storage. Both devices sport a MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 chipset, clocked at 2.5GHz. This processor is coupled with 4GB RAM. While the processor and RAM remain the same, the Oppo A75 comes with 32GB internal storage and the Oppo A75s features 64GB internal storage. Both phones come with a microSD card slot for up to 256GB internal storage.
Talking about software, the devices run on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 skinned on top. ColorOS is the default skin for Oppo smartphones and brings certain performance optimizations to the devices. Both phones are powered by a 3,200mAh battery and are dual SIM 4G ready devices. You get Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack as the standard connectivity options.
Pricing and Availability
The Oppo A75 and A75s are mid-range offerings from Oppo and are currently available in Taiwan. The Oppo A75 is priced at TWD 10,990 (roughly Rs. 23,500) and the A75s is available for TWD 11,990 (roughly Rs. 24,800).
