HMD Global has been working on its 2018 line-up of smartphones and we have been hearing a lot about the Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone for some time. Now, a recent report from Chinese certification site TENNA has revealed the detailed specifications of the phone.
Nokia 6 (2018) has been revealed in several leaks earlier. The phone with the model number TA-1054 also surfaced on TENAA as well featuring a large display with minimal bezels. Now, the latest TENNA report has revealed the specifications of the phone with the same model number. Notably, it confirms the phone will not feature a bezel-less display contradicting the earlier reports.
Nokia 6 (2018) Specifications
As per the latest report, the Nokia 6 (2018) will have a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and not 18:9 ratio as tipped earlier. If we talk about design, it has a vertical camera setup with Orange accents. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back.
The report also reveals that the device will be powered by a faster Octa-Core SoC, which is rumored to be Snapdragon 630. It will feature 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.
The dual SIM phone will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. For imaging, it will sport a 16MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. There will be an 8MP front-facing camera as well. Connectivity options on the device will include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C. It will pack 3000mAh battery.
The Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to come in White, Black and Blue color options. HMD Global has scheduled an event in China on January 19, so, we can expect the official launch of Nokia 6 (2018) on that day.
