Idea introduces Rs. 93 plan which offers unlimited calling and 1GB 3G data

Telecom operator Idea Cellular has introduced a new Rs. 93 prepaid tariff to compete against plans from Reliance Jio and Airtel. The incumbent, still banking on their 3G network, is now offering unlimited calling benefit at low rates.

Earlier, Reliance Jio had introduced the Rs. 98 plan with unlimited benefits, followed by Airtel. Now after the Idea Cellular Rs. 93 prepaid plan, Vodafone is the only telco to not offer unlimited benefits in the segments. While these benefits are good, the plans under Rs. 100 from all the telcos come with a short validity of under 15 days.
