Meizu is all set to launch multiple smartphones in 2018. Now, a new smartphone dubbed as Meizu mblu S6, which will also be called as the Meizu M6S in some countries has been leaked on TENAA, revealing the phone’s design and specifications.
According to Chinese publication MyDrivers, Meizu will unveil its latest smartphone the M6s on January 17. Also, this will be the first model from Meizu’s new brand mblu in China. The TENAA listing reveals that the mblu S6 will not come with the popular mBack home button that we have seen on Meizu smartphones. In fact, there aren’t any kind of physical or capacitive buttons on the front, which means that the phone is going to have onscreen navigation buttons instead.
Meizu M6s Design
The front of the M6s seems to feature a large 5.7-inch 18:9 display with 1440 x 720p resolution. The back features the popular U-shaped antenna band design that has been seen on most of the metal body smartphones in the past year. The highlight of the phone is the mblu logo on the back, which confirms that the M6S will be the first mblu branded smartphone by the company.
Further, on the left, you will get the volume buttons while on the right there a power button. Just below the power button, you will get a side mounted fingerprint sensor. This fingerprint placement and no physical button on the front keeps the back and front design of the phone minimal and neat.
Meizu M6s Specifications
As for the specs, the M6s comes with Samsung’s hexa-core Exynos 7872 processor with Mali-G71 GPU. It will be coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The phone will pack 3000mAh battery with 9V/2A 18W fast charging support. As of now, other details about the phone are not known.
Given the specs, the phone should compete directly with Xiaomi’s recently launched Redmi 5 Plus. Also, the phone will be making its way to the mid-range segment in terms of pricing and could be priced around 1000 Yuan.
