Moto G6, G6 Plus, G6 Play, Moto X5, Moto Z3, Z3 Play, Moto 5G leaked

Motorola’s 2018 smartphones across all segments have been leaked ahead of launch, revealing the design and some of their specifications. Motorola’s budget G Series which includes three devices has been leaked. The Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play have been leaked in promo images and they are expected to go official at MWC next month.

Two smartphones from the Moto Z series also have been leaked along with the Moto 5G Mod for the Moto Z series smartphones. The Moto X5, which features a notch at the top similar to the Apple iPhone X has also been leaked.

Moto G6 Specifications

In the Moto G6 series, Motorola has added a 3D glass panel at the back and users will fing more gloss and less metal this time. The Moto G6 will be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset under the hood with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. It is expected to come in Black, Silver and Rose Gold color options.

The device is expected to come with a 5.7 inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2169 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will sport a dual camera setup consisting of 12MP and 5MP sensors. On the front, the device is expected to come with a 16MP secondary camera. It will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery.


Moto G6 Plus Specifications

The Moto G6 Plus is the “Plus” variant of the series and comes with a large 5.93 inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2169 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will sport a dual camera setup at the back consisting of 12MP and 5MP sensors. On the front, the device is expected to come with a 16MP secondary camera.

In terms of performance, the Moto G6 Play will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 clubbed with 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. It will be powered by a 3,200mAh battery. It is expected to come in Deep Indigo, Nimbus, and Dark Lake color options.

The Moto G6 Play is the budget friendly device of the Moto G6 series. It will feature a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery and the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back of the device.

According to the promo pictures, the Moto X5 will feature a borderless display along with a notch just like the iPhone X at the top with dual cameras for selfie. There is no fingerprint sensor visible on the smartphone’s body in the pictures, so the company may use an In-display fingerprint sensor or Face Unlock for security.

The smartphone might feature a 5.9 inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2169 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone also features Moto’s Smart AI functionality, the application of which is still unclear. The Moto X5 will come with dual camera setup at the front and the back.

Moto Z3 and Z3 Play Specifications

The Moto Z series is the flagship series of the company and it comes with high-end hardware and Moto Mods support. The reports have revealed that the Moto Z3 and Z3 Play may come with a 6 inch display with a resolution of 2169 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

There is nothing much leaked about these smartphones but the leaked pictures are suggesting a little more. The Moto Z3 might feature a borderless display with curved edges like the Galaxy S8 and Note 8. There is no fingerprint spot seen in the pictures which hints toward the In-Screen fingerprint sensor or face unlock feature.

Motorola has been talking about expanding the Moto Mods family for the Moto Z series smartphones. Recently, the company had mentioned a Moto Mod with 5G capability and now we have a leaked picture showing it with Moto Z smartphone. This Moto Mod will enable 5G capabilities on the smartphone with just a snap.
