Airtel revises its Rs. 399 plan again, now offers 84 days validity

Airtel has revised its prepaid recharge packs to offer more benefits in a bid to counter Reliance Jio. The Airtel Rs. 399 plan now offers more validity to its prepaid customers. With an increase in the plan’s validity, the data benefit has also increased from 70GB to 84GB. Which means that the Airtel prepaid users can now avail 1GB data per day and unlimited calls for 84 days now.

Earlier this month, Airtel had revised its Rs 399 plan twice. Initially, the Rs. 399 plan was updated to offer a 70-day validity to counter the Reliance Jio recharge packs. Moreover, Airtel had also revised its Rs 149 plan to now offer 1GB data, unlimited calls for 28 days.

Airtel’s Rs. 399 plan

The Airtel Rs. 399 prepaid plan offers high-speed 1GB data per day along with unlimited calls including local, national, and roaming, along with 100 SMS per day for 84 days. However, Airtel is offering the new validity benefits under the Rs 399 plan to select customers in select circles as of now.

Reliance Jio’s Rs. 399 Plan

If we talk about Reliance Jio’s plan, the operator recently slashed down the price of its newer plans by Rs 50 each and also started offering more data benefits to retain its customers. Additionally, it is also offering cashback offers as well. Reliance Jio’s Rs. 399 plan offers 1GB 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day to the customers with a validity of 84 days.

Other Plans from Airtel

In addition to the Rs, 399 plan, Airtel has also revised the Rs. 149 plan to offer more validity to the prepaid customers. Airtel’s Rs. 149 plan now offers 28 days validity and it  comes with 1GB data in total, unlimited local and national calls and 100 SMS.

The Rs 149. plan of Airtel also takes on Reliance Jio’s Rs. 149 plan which offers more benefits for 28 days. Unlike the Airtel’s offer, Jio offers 1GB 4G data per day, which totals to 28GB in addition to unlimited 4G VoLTE calls (local, national, and roaming) and 100 SMS.
