Moto X4 with 6GB RAM now available for Rs. 24,999 in India

Motorola has upgraded its Moto X4 smartphone in India and has released a 6GB RAM version. The Moto X4 was launched in India last year with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB internal storage options.

The company has now unveiled the 6GB RAM edition of the Moto X4 which comes with Android 8.0 Oreo running out of the box. Apart from the increase in RAM, there has been no other change in terms of design or hardware.

All the other specifications of the 6GB RAM Moto X4 are similar to the previous Moto X4 variant. Starting with the build here, you get a Glass back on the phone, accompanied by an equally shinier front with a fingerprint sensor below the display.

The device sports a 5.2 inch full HD IPS LCD display and comes with a pixel density of ~424 PPI. In the camera department, it features a dual camera setup comprising of a 12MP primary camera and an 8MP wide angle camera with dual LED flash. A front camera of 16MP is also given for selfies and video calling.


The Moto X4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz. The Moto X4 comes in three variants now – 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The three variants support microSD card expansion up to 2TB.

In terms of software, the phone comes with stock Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Motorola has added some of their own tweaks with their ‘Show Me’ software. You can say ‘Show me the weather’ to your phone and that will return you with the weather. You get Moto Key that saves your passwords securely and will enable you to unlock your PC using your Moto X4.

Powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, the Moto X4 comes with IP68 water and dust resistance. For connectivity options, it comes with a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm earphone jack, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

The Moto X4 6GB RAM variant is available for Rs. 24,999 on Flipkart starting from February 1.
