Xiaomi has unveiled the new color variant of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A in India today. The smartphone was launched in India last year in November and now the company has added a new color variant in time for the upcoming Valentine’s Day. The smartphone went on sale today at noon and got sold out. It will soon come back on the Flipkart with the price tag of Rs. 6,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant.
The new Rose Gold variant of the Redmi 5A has already been listed on Flipkart. The smartphone was launched back in November in Champagne Gold, Dark Grey, and Rose Gold. However, only the Gold and Grey variant went on sale on the online stores and not the Rose Gold one.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a 5 inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The device comes with 2GB or 3GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Redmi 5A is equipped with a 13MP rear sensor with PDAF, and a 5MP shooter at the front for selfies and both cameras are able to shoot 1080p videos. It comes with 4G VoLTE connectivity and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It features dual SIM dual standby with a dedicated slot for the microSD card expansion.
