HTC smartphone featuring Snapdragon 625 surfaces in Benchmarks

A new smartphone has been found in benchmark results of Geekbench benchmarking site. This smartphone is from HTC and seems to be a mid-range smartphone according to the hardware it is offering under the hood. The leak reveals that the smartphone will come with the model number 2Q5W1 and be powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC.

According to the benchmark results, the smartphone will be running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with HTC Sense UI skinned on top. The smartphone will feature 3GB RAM. The device will come with a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.

The smartphone scored 776 in a single core test and 3911 in multi-core test, it is a pretty decent score for a mid-range smartphone. Since this is an initial leak, we do not have any information about other specifications of this smartphone. The main features such as the display, camera and battery are still not known.

HTC might release this mid-range smartphone at the MWC event this month. A recent report has revealed that HTC might soon launch a smartphone featuring a 5-inch – 5.7 inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. In terms of camera, the device is expected to come with a single camera at the front and back.

The device is expected to be powered by a 3,000mAh battery. We will keep you updated on this smartphone as soon as more information about the device surfaces.
