Vodafone revises Rs. 399 postpaid plan, offers 30GB data, unlimited calls, more

Vodafone India has revised its Vodafone RED plan to take on Reliance Jio and Airtel’s new plans. The updated Vodafone RED Rs. 399 plan now offers unlimited local and STD calls, national roaming, 30GB 4G data per month and 100 SMS. This plan is only available for Vodafone RED postpaid users and it comes with a rollover option of up to 200GB data. This plan also bundles free movies worth Rs. 4,000 on Vodafone Play services for a whole year.

Vodafone Rs. 399 plan includes four months of free subscription to Magzter. The plan comes with a cap on voice calls. The calls are capped at 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. This plan also includes the Vodafone RED Shield which is a device insurance to protect your smartphone from damage or theft.

Vodafone RED subscriber has to dial 199 from their smartphones to avail this plan. The Vodafone official website is still not updated with this revised plan, and the Vodafone RED Rs. 399 plan is currently not available in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

The new Vodafone RED Rs. 399 plan now allows Vodafone to compete with other operators in the postpaid market. Reliance Jio is offering its users 1GB of data per day (30GB total) with the Rs. 309 postpaid plan. If you want to skip daily or weekly call capping, then you can go for the Rs. 409 plan which comes with 20GB data. Airtel’s Rs 399 myinfinity postpaid plan also offers unlimited calls and 20GB data.
