Nokia has today announced the launch of the 4GB RAM variant of its budget device, the Nokia 6. It has been priced at Rs. 16,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart in Matte Black color option starting from February 20.

HMD Global led Nokia had launched the Nokia 6 with 3GB RAM in India along with the Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 in June last year. The 3GB RAM variant was launched at a price of Rs. 14,999. Apart from the increase in RAM, there has been no change in terms of specifications.

The Nokia 6 was launched with Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the box and recently the device received the Android 8.0 Oreo update. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with a 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

In terms of performance, the Nokia 6 is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Nokia 6 features a 16MP primary camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. On the front, the device sports an 8MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens.

The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor
