If your phone comes with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo installed then here is an easy guide which will help you to set up the password autofill feature on your smartphone.

How to set up Password Autofill on Android 8.0 Oreo

  • First, you have to choose from one of the four major password manager services – Dashlane, 1Password, Enpass, and LastPass. If you are using one of these services then it’s great because it will be easier to set up. If not, then don’t worry because there will be only one additional step.
  • Now, download the service on your smartphone which you use from the four services, or download 1Password if you haven’t used any of them before.
  • Launch the password manager app and log in to it using your account details, or create a new account on it.
  • Open Settings > System > Language, input and gestures > Advanced > tap Autofill services and select 1Password (or the service you use).
