Xiaomi Redmi 5, Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A are going on sale in India today at 12PM on Amazon, Flipkart and Mi.com, offering another chance to customers to purchase the latest Xiaomi products. The Redmi 5 sale today will be the first ever sale of the device in India, and Xiaomi has revealed that more than 4 lakh units will be available for purchase during the sale.
Today, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be available for purchase on both Amazon as well as Mi.com, starting at 12PM.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A smart TVs will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Mi.com, also starting at 12PM.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 was launched in India last week starting at a price of Rs 7999 and featuring a big 5.7-inch HD+ display and an octa-core chipset. During the first sale, Xiaomi will be stocking 4 lakh units of the latest smartphone that has been branded as a “Compact Powerhouse”.
To recall the specs, the Redmi 5 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 full-screen display and is powered by Snapdragon 450. It comes with up to 4GB RAM, runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 on top.
Camera wise, it has a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.25μm pixel size sensor, a 5-megapixel front camera with selfie flash. The device also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 3,300mAh battery. The Redmi 5 comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue colors.

To recap, the Mi TV 4 comes with a 55-inches 4K UHD HDR display, Xiaomi’s custom Patchwall UI with Android underneath and 2GB RAM with 8GB internal storage. The first Xiaomi smart TV in India also comes with over 5,00,000 hours of content available in 15 Indian languages.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is priced at Rs 39,999 in India.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4A specifications
The Mi TV 4A is an another affordable smart TV launched by Xiaomi at two price points for those who still want a smart TV but at affordable prices and in smaller sizes. The Mi TV 4A comes in two sizes – 43-inch with Full HD resolution, and 32-inch with HD resolution. Both the variants run on Patchwall UI with Android underneath, just like the Mi TV 4.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A comes with up to 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, with the price fixed at Rs 13,999 for the 32-inch version and Rs 22,999 for the 43-inch version.
