OnePlus 6 notch display could be real, just like this Oppo smartphone

OnePlus 6 is one of the most awaited smartphones of this year, with many OnePlus fans waiting to see what upgrades will be revealed with the next OnePlus flagship. However, with the launch of a new Oppo smartphone, one thing may have become certain – the OnePlus 6 may come with a notch display after all.

OnePlus 6 Notch display – Everything we know so far

So far, several details of the OnePlus 6 in the form of pictures, benchmarks, and more have already been revealed. Now according to some speculations, the OnePlus 6 is going to look exactly like the Oppo R15, given the recent history of OnePlus and Oppo smartphones. Additionally, the Vivo X21 launch suggests the OnePlus 6 might feature an under display fingerprint sensor.

Last year when OnePlus 5T got a major design overhaul, it ended up looking exactly similar to the Oppo R11S. This year the next flagship from OnePlus is going to be the OnePlus 6. This smartphone might be one of the new Android smartphones which will feature the iPhone X-like a notch on the display. If the leaks are true, then the OPPO R15 launch already suggested the upcoming smartphone’s design.

The OnePlus 6 is suggested to have a 6.28 inches OLED Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Also, looking at the OnePlus smartphone history, it may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS internal storage. A dual rear camera setup is also almost a certainty, along with a front facing camera and support for features like Portrait mode.

OPPO, Vivo, and OnePlus have one parent company, BBK Electronics and the designs of the smartphones are somewhat similar to one another. Some leaked live images of the OnePlus 6 shows a design which looks somewhat similar to what we already saw on the Oppo R15. Whether OnePlus actually goes ahead with the notch design or not remains to be seen.
