Airtel VoLTE beta program offers 30GB free data: Here’s how to participate

India’s top telecom operator Airtel has started launching its VoLTE calling services across many circles in the country. Now, to test its services ahead of a country-wide roll-out, the telecom operator has announced Airtel VoLTE Beta Program in 7 states where its VoLTE services are already available. Customers who join the Airtel VoLTE Beta Program will get up to 30 GB of free 4G LTE data in exchange for feedback on the VoLTE service.

Currently, Airtel offers its VoLTE services in Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai & West Bengal circles. Now, to ask its users for feedback regarding the VoLTE services before expanding it to other circles, the beat program is being rolled out. Here is how users can participate in Airtel VoLTE beta program to get 30GB free data.

How to participate in Airtel 4G VoLTE beta program

First of all, users need to be in the circle where Airtel VoLTE Beta program is live. The beat program is available for users in West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. Next, you need to have one of Airtel VoLTE supported phones.

Now, go to Airtel VoLTE beta page and validate your mobile number. If you are not eligible, you will get “Hi there! Airtel VoLTE is currently unavailable on your number” message. But if you are eligible, you will get an OTP on your number. You need to enter it on the website to confirm the participation in the beta program.


After confirmation, you will get 10GB data on your number within 4 days which is valid for 28 days. Then you will be required to share feedback regularly regarding Airtel VoLTE services via beta program page and another 10GB data will be credited on providing feedback at the end of week 4, and another 10GB at the end of week 8.

Airtel says that users in VoLTE beta program may face network fluctuations since it is a testing program. The beta program might also expand to other circles in the future.
