Xiaomi Mi 6X, Mi A2 get certified with 5.99 inch FHD+ display: Detailed specs

Xiaomi launched the Mi 5X back in June 2017 and today, the upgraded version (Mi 6X) has been certified in China. The smartphone features a 5.99 inches full HD+ display and dual rear camera.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X has a codename as M1804D2SC and according to the live images, the smartphone looks a lot similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It comes with a vertically oriented dual camera setup at the back with flash LED in the middle. The fingerprint sensor is also placed at the back of the smartphone just like in the Mi A1.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X/ Mi A2 comes with a 5.99 inches Full HD+ (2160×1080) resolution and 2.5D curved cover glass display. The smartphone is running an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/Snapdragon 660, 14nm mobile processor running at a frequency of 2.2 GHz.

Both the smartphones may come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Mi 6X/ Mi A2 will be running the latest version of Android 8.0 Oreo with MIUI on the top right out of the box. The SIM card tray supports two SIM cards or one SIM and microSD card.


The Mi 6X and Mi A2 will be sporting a dual camera setup including a 20MP sensor and one 8MP sensor with LED flash. On the front, there might be a 20MP shooter for selfies. The fingerprint sensor and the IR sensor are also present like their predecessors. For connectivity, the smartphone has a 3.5 mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type C with 2910 mAh battery.
