OnePlus 6 gets Wi-Fi certification, confirms Android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon 845

The OnePlus 5T has gone out of stock in North America and everyone is talking about the next flagship from OnePlus. One of the biggest questions is that if the OnePlus 6 is going to feature the notch in the display like every other Chinese smartphone brand. OnePlus is going to launch its flagship in the coming weeks and the smartphone has been leaked a lot of times on the internet. Today, the smartphone has been leaked while going through the Wi-Fi certification.

The smartphone has been listed on the Wi-Fi certification website which confirms that the smartphone will be called OnePlus 6. The smartphone has a model number ONEPLUS A6003. The smartphone got certified on 2nd April, 2018. Aside from the name reveal, the listing also reveals that the smartphone will be running the Android 8.1 Oreo with the Oxygen OS 5.1.0 on top and it supports WCN3990 dual band 802.11ac, this further confirms that the smartphone is going to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

Aside from all the Wi-Fi certification leaks, the OnePlus 6 specs has been leaked recently on the internet while going through another certification. The smartphone is said to be featuring a 6.28 inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display which Corning Gorilla GLass 5 protection on the top. The smartphone will be featuring a notch on the front of the display which increases the screen to body ratio of the smartphone to 90 percent.

The OnePlus 6 is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB/8GB RAM. The smartphone will feature 64GB/128GB internal storage with dual rear camera and fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be built of a different material this time.
