Xiaomi Mi Gift Card program launched in India: How to purchase and redeem Mi Gift Cards

Xiaomi has introduced a new Gift Card program in India. Xiaomi Gift cards can be used to purchase products ranging from smartphones, accessories, and other smart devices from Xiaomi. The Mi Gift card program has been launched in partnership with prepaid card solutions provider Qwikcilver.

You can select from a gallery of gift cards available on mi.com. Also, you can customize a gift card by uploading your favorite design. This Xiaomi e-gift card can be easily sent and received by email and you can add it to your Mi account. The gift cards come with a minimum limit of Rs. 100 and a maximum purchase value of Rs. 10,000. Notably, a user can avail a maximum of 10 gift cards in one order.

How to purchase a Mi Gift Card?

Step 1. Visit www.mi.com/in/giftcard/ and select a Mi Gift Card of your choice.

Step 2. Fill in the card details like sender’s info, recipient’s info, a message (200 characters max.), gift card amount, and delivery date. Review all the details and click the next step.


Step 3. Now, preview the gift card and proceed to checkout.

Step 4. You can pay using credit/debit cards, and UPI to place your order. (They do not support international cards, wallets, and cash backs for Gift Cards.)

The recipient will then get an email and it will reflect the transaction details and the available gift card balance.

How to redeem a Mi gift card?

Mi Gift Card

Step 1. Go to Mi Store app->My account ->Add Gift Card.

Step 2. Enter the 16-digit gift card number and the 6-digit pin that you have received via mail.

Step 3. Click ‘Add Gift Card’ button and the gift card will be credited to your Mi account.

Step 4. While placing an order on mi.com, you can select the gift card to make the payment.

It is to be noted that the Mi Gift Card expires in 12 months from the date of issue. In case of return of a product, partial or full payment will be refunded to the same Gift Card and it can be availed again.
