If you are interested in buying the smartphone then you have to pay the full amount of the smartphone at the time of booking. The COD (Cash on Delivery) payment option is not available to prebook the phone. Xiaomi said that the smartphone might take 2 to 4 weeks to get shipped to the doorstep and it also varies based on the demand. You can also change our mind and cancel the order before the smartphone is shipped.

Xiaomi has also removed the Cash on Delivery payment option for the Redmi Note 5 Pro on Mi.com too. Xiaomi did this to restrict reselling of the smartphones and only the genuine buyers will get the chance to buy the smartphone.
