Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo with Super AMOLED display, dual rear cameras

Samsung has officially announced the latest smartphone in its J series dubbed as Galaxy J7 Duo in India. The Galaxy J7 Duo has been leaked several times earlier and now the mid-range phone has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 16,999.

The latest J series phone Samsung comes with some good features such as a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7 series Octa-Core processor, and Android 8.0 Oreo. The highlight feature is its 13MP+ 5MP dual rear cameras with a f/1.9 aperture for background blur effect. It doesn’t come with Bixby features as rumored earlier.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo specifications

The Galaxy J7 Duo sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and comes with a removable back cover. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with customized UI.

It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7 Series processor coupled with 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card. It comes dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots.


Camera wise, it sports a dual rear camera with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, and a 5MP secondary rear camera. Up front, there is an 8MP front camera with LED flash with f/1.9 aperture.

Connectivity features are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. The device packs a 3000mAh removable battery.
