A couple of weeks after its official announcement in the US, the new Apple iPad (2018) is now available for pre-orders in India. Homegrown e-com giant Flipkart has started taking pre-orders for the iPad 2018. The new iPad was launched with a starting price of Rs. 28,000 and was expected to hit stores in India sometime in April.
Apple introduced the new iPad 2018 with Apple Pencil support, and A10 Fusion chip at its Creative Education event in Chicago last month. The company already said that the iPad 2018 would be available in India starting in April via Apple Authorized resellers and now it is clear that iPad will be Flipkart exclusive.
Apple iPad 2018 Price in India
The new iPad 2018 comes in four variants. The iPad 2018 32GB Wi-Fi version costs Rs. 28,000, while the 32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model is priced at Rs. 35,700. The Apple iPad 9.7-inch 2018 128GB Wi-Fi model is priced at Rs. 38,600 and the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model costs Rs. 46,300.
The new iPad comes in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray colors and is now available for pre-order through Flipkart from today. It will start shipping from April 20.

The iPad 2018 sports 9.7 inch (2048×1536 pixels) Fully laminated Retina Display with 264 PPI. It also features fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. The interesting part of the iPad 2018 is, it comes with Apple Pencil support.
The iPad 2018 is powered by A10 Fusion chip with M10 motion coprocessor. It comes in 32GB or 128GB variants. The iPad 2018 runs iOS 11. Camera department on the iPad 2018 is supported with 8 MP 1080p camera with f/2.4 aperture. It offers Panorama shots up to 43MP. Up front, there is a 1.2MP HD FaceTime HD camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE (optional), Wi‑Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac); dual channel (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and HT80 with MIMO, and Bluetooth 4.2. It also sports a Touch ID or fingerprint sensor.
The iPad 2018 is powered by a 32.4-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that offers up to 10 hours of web surfing, watching video, or music. Dimension wise it measures 240x 169.5x 7.5mm and weighs 469g (WiFi model) and 478g (WiFi + Cellular model).
