Moreover, another leaker suggests that the Galaxy Note 9 will also go bigger on the battery. Samsung could upgrade substantially in terms of battery, moving from the 3,300mAh on current flagship to 3,850mAh or even 4,000mAh on Note 9.

Further, what we have seen in previous rumors, the Galaxy Note 9 will be powered by the same chipsets as the Galaxy S9 duo, i.e. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC or Samsung’s Exynos 9810 SoC. In the first benchmarks leak, the key specifications of the Galaxy Note 9 have already been revealed – 6GB RAM, Android 8.1 Oreo and Snapdragon 845.

Another notable feature that might come with Galaxy Note 9, is an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, there is little information regarding this and it is expected that Samsung could end up skipping this feature for its coming flagship smartphone. Moreover, dual camera enhancements and the iconic S Pen stylus-related improvements are also expected.

The Galaxy Note 9 is said to arrive in the same timeline this year as Note 8, and the Korea Herald predicts the late August launch for the smartphone. But, some previous rumors claim that the Galaxy Note 9 will be launched sooner than expected.
