Nokia X leaked in teasers, expected to launch on April 27

HMD Global had unveiled a bunch of new Android smartphones at the MWC 2018 held in Barcelona and most of them have already made it to the global market. A mysterious Nokia smartphone got leaked in a teaser in China. The teaser is displayed with an “X” formation from smartphones. This might be the next smartphone from the company which is going to be called Nokia X.

The ads of the smartphone have already been spotted in China and the smartphone is expected to be officially launched later this month in China on April 27. As you can see in the pictures below, the smartphones are forming an X shape. This ad doesn’t reveal anything about this device, there is not much text on the ad, just the smartphone with X formation and the Nokia logo above.

Rumors are suggesting that the Nokia X will be coming in two variants according to the RAM – 4GB and 6GB RAM. The smartphone might be featuring a Qualcomm or MediaTek processor, this might be a mid-range smartphone according to some rumors but it is far from confirmed.

It is still unclear that if the Nokia X smartphone is coming to the global market or it will just be released in Asia. What’s interesting is that Microsoft bought the Nokia phone division back in 2004. Microsoft released some smartphone with Android OS which got the model name as Nokia X. Now, HMD is working on a phone with the same name.

The smartphone got released previously under the Nokia X series was the low to mid-range smartphones and they didn’t do much better in the market. This smartphone might also be a mid-range smartphone which will get released in China.
