Asus Zenfone Max Pro with Snapdragon 636 launching in India on April 23

Asus is all set to launch a new Zenfone Max Pro smartphone in India on April 23 which will be exclusive to Flipkart. The Indian e-com giant hosted its BigOnFlipkart event in partnership with Asus, where it has announced that Asus will launch the Zenfone Max Pro, a new mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 636 in India on April 23.

Asus and Flipkart have signed a long-term strategic partnership to launch innovative, disruptive products from Asus exclusively on Flipkart. Apart from Zenfone Max Pro, the smartphone maker has also confirmed that the Zenfone 5 series is also coming to India soon, but it did not share any specific time-frame for the launch.

If we talk the strategic partnership of Flipkart and Asus, this partnership not only covers sales and marketing of products by Flipkart but will also include more aspects. Under this partnership, both companies will collaborate in the co-creation of new products for the Indian market based on consumer insights.

Flipkart will be the primary sales channel for all Asus smartphones. Both the companies will further provide customers with the opportunity to experience exclusive access to latest Asus smartphones on the e-commerce platform. On the marketing front, both the companies will extensively support each other in the planning and execution of marketing activities.

Coming to the specs of the upcoming Zenfone Max Pro, the company said that the phone will be a game-changer and disruptive, but it did not reveal other specs of the smartphone. However, we are expecting that the Zenfone Max Pro might feature an FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, Android 8.0 Oreo, dual rear cameras, and a huge battery.
