Oppo A3 launched with 6.2 inch display, Android 8.1 Oreo, more

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched a new mid-range device, dubbed as the Oppo A3 in its home country China. The device is already available in China with a starting price of CNY 1,999 (Rs. 21,000 approx.).

The Oppo A3 comes with a huge 6.2-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display and is powered by an octa core Helio P60 processor. It is available in Black, Silver, Red and Rose Gold color options.

The Oppo A3 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ColorOS 5.0 skinned on top. The device features a 6.2-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 19:9.

In terms of performance, the device is powered by an octa core MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. In terms of memory, the device comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Oppo A3 features a 16MP primary camera with an LED flash. On the front, the device comes with an 8MP secondary camera for selfies. The device measures 156 × 75.3 × 7.8mm and weighs 159 grams.

The Oppo A3 is powered by a 3,400mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device comes with Dirac HD for improved audio experience.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo A3 is currently available for CNY 1,999 in Black, Silver, Red and Rose Gold colors. After some time, the price will be increased to CNY 2,099.
