Xiaomi Mi 7 display panel images leaked, reveal a notch design

Xiaomi’s latest flagship smartphone Mi 7 have been in the news for some time now and rumors have started surfacing online as the launch nears. Xiaomi is all silent about the next flagship which will get released in the coming days.

The smartphone is in the rumors for so long and today some pictures of the display panel of the smartphone have been leaked online which have revealed the notch on the top side.

A leaked poster of the Xiaomi Mi 7 has revealed that the smartphone may be launched on May 23. Additionally, some hardware specifications have been leaked from the firmware which confirms the notch on the display. Below are the images which show two display panel of the smartphone which shows the notch on it.

Last year a rumor was there on the internet which suggests that Xiaomi is working on a Plus model of the Xiaomi Mi 6 but it didn’t happen. This time again, a rumor is suggesting a plus model with the Xiaomi Mi 7. The Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus will be coming with different screen sizes.

A disappointing part of this whole rumor is that we can clearly see a chin at the bottom part of the display. Xiaomi has not been able to remove the bottom chin just like in iPhone X. The delay in the launch of the flagship smartphone is because Xiaomi is looking for some 3D face recognition hardware which will allow them to remove the fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi Mi 7 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM.
