LG G7 ThinQ announced with 6.1 inch QHD+ Super Bright Display, Snapdragon 845

LG has announced the much anticipated flagship, LG G7 ThinQ smartphone at an event in New York. The smartphone comes with a 6.1 inch QHD+ display with 19.5:9 FullVision aspect ratio. The display features a notch on the top with a bottom chin which is slimmer than the LG G6. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and up to 6GB of RAM.

The LG G7 ThinQ comes with a 6.1 inch QHD+ display with 19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU for gaming and graphics rendering.

The processor is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, the LG G7+ ThinQ variant is paired with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with the LG UX.

The dual camera on the rear includes two 16MP sensors, one with f/1.6 aperture size and one with f/1.9 aperture size. It comes with an LED flash, laser autofocus and OIS. The front-facing selfie camera is an 8MP shooter with f/1.9 aperture size.


The smartphone is water resistant with IP68 certification and it weighs only 162 grams. It comes with all the connectivity options including Bluetooth 5, NFC and USB Type-C port. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging support.

The LG G7 ThinQ smartphone will be available in four colors – Platinum Gray, Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Raspberry Rose. The smartphone will be released in South Korea followed by all other major markets like North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
