Honor 10 is set to launch in India on May 15, exclusively on Flipkart

Huawei is set to launch the Honor 10 flagship smartphone in India by the end of May. Honor already released this smartphone in China last month and now it is coming to India exclusively through Flipkart. The Honor View 10 was launched in India earlier this year exclusively on Amazon.

The smartphone is expected to launch globally in London on May 15th and Flipkart has confirmed that the device will launch in India as a Flipkart exclusive on May 15.

Honor 10 Specifications

The Honor 10 comes with a 5.84 inches Full HD+ (2240 x 1080) display with 2.5D curved glass, it comes with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor which is based on a 10nm process with AI core built in, the GPU is Mali G72 MP12 for best rendering.

The smartphone is powered by a 6GB RAM which is paired with 64GB / 128GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. The Honor 10 will come with the OEM’s own EMUI 8.1 which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone supports dual SIM card including two nano SIM cards.

Coming to the camera, it comes with a 16MP + 24 MP dual camera setup with f/1.8 aperture size and depth focus mode with LED flash. The front-facing camera is a 24MP sensor which comes with a f/2.0 aperture size. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor placed below the display and an Infrared sensor placed at the top side.

The smartphone comes with a 3,400mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone was launched in China at a price tag of 2,599 Yuan which translates roughly to Rs. 27,230 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The 128GB storage variant is approximately 2999 Yuan which translates to Rs. 31,420.
