Honor 7S certified with 5.45-inch display, face unlock, more

Honor is working on a new budget device after launching the Honor 7A earlier last month. The device, dubbed as Honor 7S has been certified by TENAA with the model number DUA-TL00 and press images of the device have also surfaced online.

The Honor 7S press images and specifications of the device have surfaced online, revealing the design and specifications of the device. Huawei backed Honor had launched the Honor 7A last month and this device is similar to that but does not come with a dual camera setup.

Honor 7S Specifications

The Honor 7S runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skinned on top. The device features a 5.45-inch FullView HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It has a 2.5D curved glass on top.

In terms of performance, the Honor 7S will be powered by the quad core MediaTek MT6739 SoC coupled with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. In terms of memory, the device offers 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.


Coming to the camera department, the Honor 7S features a 15MP primary camera with an LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 5MP secondary camera with an LED flash for improved low-light images.

The Honor 7S is powered by a 3,020mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device comes with Face unlock feature, allowing you to unlock the device with your face.
