Smartron tband with OLED display, ECG and BP monitoring launched at Rs. 4999

Domestic company Smartron has launched its first wearable device in India dubbed as tband. This is the first fitness band that has ECG (Electrocardiography) and BP (Blood Pressure) monitoring feature to measure fatigue and stress levels in addition to the ability to continuously measure the heart rate.

With the Smartron thealth app, the band gives an overall Health Index score of the user including activity tracking, calorie count, sleeping patterns, stress & fatigue levels etc. If we talk about specs, the tband has a 0.96-inch OLED display, IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, and a 100mAh battery. The tband also offers customizable alerts for reminders, SOS, SMS and call notifications. It is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones.

Smartron tband features, specifications

The Smartron tband sports a 0.96-inch (128 × 64 pixels) OLED touch display. It has 18mm changeable straps that makes it a stylish wearable. It is powered by a MT2523/MT2511 processor. It is connected via Bluetooth 4.1, and compatible with Android 5.0 & above and iOS 8.3 or above.

The tband can show call, text and app notifications with DnD mode. It can set up to 10 customizable alarms, sedentary reminders, and also features wrist detection. Its features include activity tracking, sleep monitoring, 24/7 heart rate monitoring, resting heart rate, ECG, BP, stress and fatigue. Moreover, it can calculate steps, calorie burnt, distance, as well as pace.


Sensors on the tband include 3-Axis Accelerometer, ECG, and Optical heart rate monitor (PPG). The tband is IP 67 rated for water and dust resistance. It packs 100mAH battery that lasts for 2-4 days depending on notifications and usage.

Price and availability

The Smartron tband is priced at Rs. 4999 and it will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting from May 13.
