Moto 1s launched in China with dual cameras and 18:9 display

Lenovo owned Motorola has launched a new smartphone dubbed as the Moto 1s in China today. The smartphone comes with similar design and specifications as the Moto G6 which was released recently. The phone has been priced at CNY 1,499 (Rs. 16,000) in China.

Motorola launched Moto G6 series smartphones last month in Brazil and is also planning to introduce the Moto G6 and G6 Play in India. Now, this Moto 1s looks like Moto G6 as it also comes with a 5.7 inches full view display and sports Snapdragon 450 SoC.

Moto 1s Specifications

The Motorola Moto 1s comes with a 5.7 inch full HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC running at a clock speed of 1.8GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone comes with dual rear cameras with 12MP + 5MP sensor setup for Bokeh effect in the Portrait mode. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture size for better low light performance and comes with LED flash.

The Moto 1s comes with a fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back of the phone under the camera module. The smartphone also comes with a P2i nano splash proof coating to make it dust and water resistant.

The device comes with all the connectivity options like the 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type C port for charging and data sync. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery which supports Turbo charging.

Price and Availability

The Moto 1s is priced at CNY 1,499 which translates to Rs. 16,000 approx., and it is available in two colors – Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder. The smartphone is only available in China for now through the online Lenovo shop and Motorola stores. Currently, there is no information whether the device will be available in other countries or not.
