Comio X1 Note with dual camera, Android Oreo launched in India at Rs. 9,999

Chinese smartphone brand Comio today introduced a new smartphone in India, named the Comio X1 Note. The Comio X1 Note is part of the company’s new X series and it offers mediocre specifications at a starting price of Rs 9,999. Its key features are dual cameras and Android Oreo.

Comio is the new smartphone brand in India that made its debut just this year with three Comio phones in the budget segment. Now with this new smartphone, the company is eyeing to expand itself in the country and to take on the existing offline smartphone brands such as Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi. The Comio X1 Note is available to purchase via both the offline and online channels.

Comio X1 Note Specifications

The Comio X1 Note comes with a plastic body. The front of the phone is dominated by a 6-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display.

The X1 Note is powered by an unspecified 1.45GHz quad-core processor. Comio has added 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage in the device, which can be further expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. The device boots Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.


For optics, the Comio X1 Note has a dual rear camera with a 13MP primary and a 5MP secondary camera. The camera also comes with various modes such as Bokeh, Beauty, Panorama, and Night. An 8MP selfie camera is there for selfies and video calls.

It also comes with features such as Face Unlock, Picture-in-Picture mode, and dual account etc. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear, which can also be used to pick calls, unlock the device, click pictures, and access other apps as well.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a micro USB port. The phone is run by a 2900mAh battery.

Price and availability

The Comio X1 Note is priced at Rs. 9,999 and comes in two colour options- Royal Blue and Sunrise Gold. It can be purchased offline retail stores as well as online platforms – Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon, ShopClues and Paytm.

If we talk about launch offers, Comio has partnered with telecom operator Reliance Jio. The telco will offer Rs 2,200 cashback to Comio X1 Note buyers after the first successful recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 plans. The cashback will be credited in the form of Rs 50 vouchers.
