Oppo Find X was launched yesterday at a global launch event held in Paris. The new Oppo flagship grabbed all the attention with its beautiful and the innovative design. The Oppo Find X smartphone comes with all screen on the front with super thin bezels and 93.8 screens to body ratio.
The smartphone’s key highlight is its unique camera slider that pops in and out from the top automatically. Other highlights of the Oppo Find X include a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 3D facial scanning. Oppo‘s new flagship will be made available from August in select markets and the company is planning to launch it in India on July 12.
Oppo Find X Specifications
The Oppo Find X smartphone comes with a 6.4 inches curved AMOLED display. The display comes with 93.8 screens to body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
It comes with a 24MP front-facing camera for selfies and the rear camera is a dual sensor setup including a 16MP sensor with LED flash, OIS and f/2.0 aperture and a 20MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It is AI-enhanced 3D camera equipped with 3D lighting techniques and filters for better portraits.
For performance, this smartphone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor which is paired with 8GB RAM. It comes with 256GB internal memory. The smartphone comes with a 3,700 mAH battery which supports Super VOOC fast charging tech from Oppo.

Oppo Find X sports a nice shiny metal back with curved edges and no camera sensors on the front or at the back. There is a motorized slider that works automatically when you open or close the camera app. The smartphone also relies all on its 3D face sensors for security because there is no fingerprint sensor on the device.
Oppo Find X Price and availability
The Oppo Find X is priced at 999 Euros which roughly translates to Rs 79,000. The Automobili Lamborghini Edition of the smartphone is priced at 1,699 Euros. The Find X comes in two color variants – Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. The smartphone has been released for the Chinese, American and European markets and will be made available in August in these markets.
The company has sent out invites for an event in India to be held on July 12, and the Oppo Find X is expected to be launched in the country. The new invite from Oppo about the event on 12 July comes with the tagline “Find what you have been looking for until now”. This suggests that the company is going to launch the “Find X” flagship smartphone in India.
