Samsung Galaxy On6 with Infinity Display Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Samsung has finally launched the latest model in its Galaxy On series of smartphones dubbed as the Galaxy On6. The new Galaxy On6 sports the Infinity Display design which offers 15 percent more display area without increasing the size.

Apart from the 5.6-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, other highlights of the Galaxy On6 are an Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with 4GB of RAM, Android 8.0 Oreo and an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash.

The Samsung Galaxy On6 price in India is Rs. 14,490. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Samsung Online Shop starting July 5.

There are several offers with Galaxy On6 as well. The company offers a complete mobile protection plan at Rs. 49, no cost EMI options starting at Rs. 1,610, and exchange offers. Moreover, Jio customers will get Rs. 2,750 cashback on recharging with Rs. 198 and Rs. 299 packs after purchasing Galaxy On6.


Samsung Galaxy On6 specifications

The Galaxy On6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ (1480 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB with microSD. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

In terms of optics, it sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash. There is a back mounted fingerprint sensor, but the phone also supports Face Unlock feature as well.

The Dual SIM phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and GPS as connectivity options. It gets a 3000mAh battery. Dimensions of the phone are 70.2x 149.3×8.2 mm and its weight is 153g. It also sports a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.

Samsung has also introduced a new ‘Chat Over Video’ feature that lets you chat while watching a video by offering a translucent chat screen. Lastly, the Galaxy On6 also supports Samsung Pay Mini for easy digital payments.
