Nokia 3.1 Android One Smartphone Launched in India: Price, Specifications

HMD Global, the current custodian of Nokia phones, has made official its latest budget smartphone in the country. Key highlights of the Nokia smartphone include its stock Android One certification, an 18:9 HD+ panel, and a 2,990mAh battery.

Nokia 3.1 is the successor to last year’s Nokia 3. HMD Global launched the new Nokia 3.1 alongside Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1 at an event in Russia back in May. Amon the three new phone, the Nokia 3.1 is now available for purchase in India.

Nokia 3 Price in India, Offers

The Nokia 3.1 is priced at Rs. 10,499 and it will be available offline via retail stores as well as online via Nokia website and Paytm mall starting from July 21. It comes in Blue+Copper, Black+Chrome, and White+Iron color options.

If we talk about launch offers, customers buying Nokia 3.1 using the Paytm QR code will get 10 percent Paytm cashback and two Rs. 250 movie cashback vouchers by Paytm. Also, ICICI Bank credit and debit card users will get 5 percent cashback. The telecom offers include Idea and Vodafone extra data and other benefits.

Nokia 3 Specifications

The new Nokia 3.1 comes with a 5.2-inch HD+(720 x 1440 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750N processor with Mali T860 GPU.

Memory wise, it comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and is also upgradable to Android P.

In terms of optics, it sports a 13MP single rear camera with LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84.6-degree wide-angle lens.

The Dual SIM phone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and GPS as connectivity options. It packs a 2990mAh battery. Dimensions of the phone are 146.25 x 68.65 x 8.7mm and its weight is 138.3 g.
