Honor 9N with Notch Display Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Honor India has launched its latest smartphone Honor 9N today at an event in New Delhi. This is the first budget phone from Honor with a notch display. The Honor 9N price starts at Rs. 11,999 in India and it will be a Flipkart exclusive.

The Honor 9N is the Indian variant of the Honor 9i (2018) smartphone that was launched in China last month and it has the same specs. The highlights of the phone are FHD+ notch display, AI dual rear cameras, game mode, ride mode, and face unlock feature.

Honor 9N Price in India, Launch Offers

Honor 9N price in India starts at Rs. 11,999 for the 3GB+32GB base variant. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 13,999. There is another 4GB RAM+128GB storage variant which is priced at Rs. 17,999. The phone will go on sale via Flipkart and Honor India store starting from July 31. If we talk about the launch offer, Reliance Jio is giving Rs. 2,200 cashback and 100GB free data. The company is also giving away Rs. 1,200 Myntra voucher along with the phone.

Honor 9N Specifications

The Honor 9N sports a 5.84-inch FHD+ (1080×2280 pixels) IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM (Nano) phone runs EMUI 8.0 custom skin on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.


The Honor 9N is powered by Kirin 659 SoC along with 3GB or 4GB RAM, and GPU Turbo tech for boosting performance while playing games. The device comes in three storage variants- 32GB, 64GB and 128GB with the option of expanding up to 256 GB.

In terms of camera, there is a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera along with an LED flash. There is a 16-megapixel front camera with AI beautification and scene recognition features. The front camera also supports Face Unlock feature apart from the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS. The Honor 9N is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
