Asus Zenfone 5Z 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version will go on sale starting July 30. Priced at Rs 36,999, the Zenfone 5Z is the cheapest smartphone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage and also the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
Asus launched the Zenfone 5Z earlier this month in three variants, but only 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage were up for sale initially. The 8GB version will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart alongside the other two variants now.

Asus also announced new launch offers for the upcoming 8GB variant of the Zenfone 5Z. Axis Bank customers buying the ZenFone 5Z can avail Rs. 2,000 discount using credit cards, debit cards, and EMI plans.
Apart from that, other offers include the cashback worth Rs. 2,200 and 100GB free data from Reliance Jio, Complete Mobile Protection plan at discounted Rs. 499, and also the free pick up and drop service facility as well.
Asus Zenfone 5Z Specifications
The Zenfone 5Z sports a 6.2-inch SuperIPS FHD+ notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It sports 90% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and comes in 6GB/8GB RAM options coupled with 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options which are also expandable up to 2TB.
In terms of camera, it sports a dual camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8, dual-pixel PDAF, 4-axis OIS, and an 8MP secondary wide-angle lens. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device runs by a 3,300mAh battery with AI fast charging support.
Asus Zenfone 5Z comes in two color options- Meteor Silver and Midnight Blue. Other than the 8GB RAM mode, the 6GB+64GB model at Rs. 29,999 and the 6GB+128GB storage model at Rs. 32,999 are also available exclusively on Flipkart.
