Samsung Galaxy S10 to come with In-display Fingerprint Sensor

Samsung Galaxy S10 is all set to meet the Samsung’s Galaxy family fall this year or early next year. There were lots of rumors and leaks about the smartphone, and now a new rumor is coming out about the design and shipment of the smartphone.

The initial shipment of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will tamp up to 40 million units. The smartphone is said to be featuring an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and some of the recent rumors confirm it.

The Galaxy S10 will come in two variants; one with 6.1 inches display and one with 6.4 inches display. THere will be another variant which will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a smaller 5.8 inches display. The smartphone will also be featuring the IRIS sensor for privacy which we already have seen in previous Galaxy smartphones.

Along with the flagship Galaxy S10, there with be another high-end smartphone in the Galaxy A and Galaxy Note series will also be featuring the same ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy Note 10 which will be coming next year, will also feature this sensor.


The in-display fingerprint sensor tech is the next new thing in future smartphone and like every other brand, like Synaptics is building their own in display fingerprint sensor tech of their own. Recently we saw this type of tech in the Vivo Nex and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer edition.
