Just a month after launching the Vivo NEX, the Chinese smartphone maker is now planning to launch next smartphone in India. Vivo India has sent a mail to media for an event on September 6. It is likely that the company will launch the Vivo V11 at the event.

Vivo hasn’t specified about the device though, but the tagline ‘EXPERIENCE THE 11 ON 06.09.2018’ clearly hints at the V11. Moreover, the teaser suggests that the device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Just a day before the official invite came out, there were several leaks about the Vivo V11 making rounds of the internet. The device leaked in live images and it reveals the V11 in its full glory. Vivo following the footsteps of its sibling Oppo will adopt the waterdrop notch design for V11.

As per the leaked images on SlashLeaks, Vivo V11 can be seen sporting a waterdrop notch display just like the recently launched Oppo F9. The device can be seen sporting a FullView display and a small notch on top. It sports a glass back and dual camera setup at the rear.

Apart from the images, a specs sheet was also leaked on the internet that revealed the specifications of the device. The V11 is expected to sport a 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage that supports up to 256 GB microSD card.

Coming to the camera, the V11 could sport a 12 MP with f/1.8 aperture and 5 MP secondary rear camera combination just like the X21 and the NEX. There could be a 25 MP selfie snapper. The Vivo V11 will run Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and will come packed with a 3,400 mAh battery and in-display fingerprint sensor.
