Motorola One, Motorola One Power Launched: Price, Specifications, India Launch

Motorola has finally launched the Motorola One and One Power Android One smartphones at the IFA 2018 event in Berlin today. Both the phones with Android One program run Android 8.0 Oreo and will also get the Android 9.0 Pie update as well as security updates for three years from the launch date.

In terms of specs and features, both the Motorola One and One Power are different. They both sport the new notch display and come with dual cameras, but differ in terms of specs. Between them, only the Motorola One Power will be launched in India in October.

Motorola One Power Specifications

In terms of specs, the Motorola One Power sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top. Under the hood, it will be powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU, up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

The Dual SIM phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of the camera, it sports dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor with LED flash and a 5MP secondary sensor. There is an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone sports a P2i water-repellent nanocoating and a fingerprint sensor at the back.


Connectivity option n the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support.

Motorola One Specifications

The Motorola One also sports a 5.9-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) notch display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio aspect ratio. Under the hood, it gets Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. Memory wise, it packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

 

The Dual SIM phone has several connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. It also runs Android 8.0 Oreo.

In terms of camera, it sports a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture alongside a 2MP secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. The phone sports P2i water-repellent nanocoating and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Price, availability

 

The Motorola One is priced at €299 (Rs. 24,780 approx.). It comes in Black and White colors options and will go on sale in Europe, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific starting from September.

While the Motorola One Power will be launched in India. Its pricing has not been revealed yet. It comes in Black, White and Golden color options and will be available in India starting in October.
