OnePlus launches Type-C Bullets earphones, 6T may ditch 3.5mm headphone jack

OnePlus has just announced its new Type-C Bullets in-ear headphones. These new earphones are upgraded versions of Bullets V2 earphones that was launched back in 2016. These new type C Bullets will ship with the OnePlus 6T, so it is quite possible that the next OnePlus flagship may ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Type C Bullets Features

The new type C Bullets has several improvements and modifications to offer crisp, powerful sound. It has a metal design and its cable is made of aramid fibers that make the new Bullets even more resistant and they can be stretched more.

OnePlus has partnered with Ciruss Logic to include a DAC that offers higher dynamic range, more powerful bass, and less background noise. They also allow users to adjust the sound enhancement for a more customized experience. The new Bullets are compatible with any Type C USB port so they pair with all OnePlus devices.

Price, availability

The OnePlus Type-C Bullets is priced at Rs. 1,490. It will be launched alongside the OnePlus 6T possibly in October 2018. It will be available to purchase via online and offline channels across the country.

Commenting on the launch, the company said,

Our original goal with the Type-C Bullets was to bring the Bullets V2 audio standards to Type-C headsets. As we progressed with the project, we found many elements to further improve your listening experience.”
