The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 was launched in India today at Xiaomi’s Smarter Living event. The new fitness band from Xiaomi comes with several upgrades in terms of design and features like a heart rate sensor, OLED touchscreen, and water resistance.
The Mi Band 3 was first launched in China back in May. The new fitness band is the successor to the Mi Band 2 which was introduced in 2016 and it comes with some added features compared to the Mi Band 2. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 price in India is set at Rs 1,999 and it will go on sale via Amazon India from tomorrow, September 28th.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Features
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 features a 0.78-inch OLED display with rounded edges and a depressed button right below the display. It is a scratch-resistant glass with anti-fingerprint coating and shows time, step count, heart rate, weather, and notifications.
The Mi band 3 sports a heart-rate sensor. It also offers improved activity tracking with real-time data for several activities. The activity tracking features include step counts, sleep monitoring and running etc. It is also water resistant up to 50meters with the 5ATM rating.
The Mi Band 3 is connected via Bluetooth and offers improved notification prompts. You will able to see who is calling on and also directly mute incoming calls on the band itself with the button on the display. The Mi Band 3 packs 110mAh battery that is supposed to offer 20-days of battery life which is dependent on how it will be used.

As mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is priced at Rs. 1999 in India. It comes with a Black wristband and you can also buy Orange and Blue color straps as well. The Mi Band 3 will be available via Amazon.in and Mi.com/in from September 28. It will also be available from offline Mi Home stores soon.
