Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch a new smartphone Honor 8X in India on October 16. The highlights of the Honor mid-range phablet are 6.5-inch FHD+ notch display, new octa-core Kirin 710 chipset, and dual rear AI cameras.
Honor introduced the Honor 8X which is the successor to Honor 7X, last month in China. Now, the company has started the global rollout of the phone starting from Dubai and Spain since yesterday. The official website also reveals that it will come to markets like Malaysia, Russia, and Thailand as well.
Honor 8X Specifications
The new Honor 8X sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+(2340 × 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it gets octa-core Kirin 710 12nm processor with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 on top.
In terms of camera, it sports a dual rear camera with a 20MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP secondary camera. It supports 480 fps slow-mo recording. There is a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Dual SIM phone comes with dedicated card slots for SIM and MicroSD. Its memory is expandable up to 400GB. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It packs a 3750mAh battery with fast charging support.
Honor 8X Price
Honor 8X price in China starts at 1399 yuan (Rs. 14,695 approx.) while it is priced at 999 Saudi Riyal (Rs. 19,460 approx.) in Dubai and €249 (Rs. 21,065 approx.) in Spain. We will know the Honor 8X price in India when it launches later this month. The device comes in Black, Blue, Purple and red colors in global markets.
