Huawei Mate 20 Pro India Launch On November 27

Huawei Mate 20 Pro India launch is set for November 27. Huawei has sent out media invites for the launch event without mentioning which product is being launched. But from the rear camera design, it becomes clear that the Mate 20 Pro will be unveiled on that date.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the Chinese company’s latest flagship smartphone was launched last month in London. It the first smartphone that comes with the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset and also sports tripe rear cameras and much more new features. Let’s check out its specs.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specifications

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a 6.39-inch QHD+(1440×3120 pixels) curved OLED notch display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the new Kirin 980 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via a new Nano memory card. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.

In terms of camera, the Mate 20 Pro has a triple rear camera setup. There is a 40MP primary wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 20MP ultra wide-angle secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, it sports a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.


It packs a 4,200mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge technology and wireless charging as well. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, Bluetooth v5.0 LE with aptX, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro price starts at EUR 1,049 (Rs. 88,400 approx.) for the 6GB+128GB model. We expect it to be priced lesser in India. The Mate 20 price in India will be announced at the November 27 event. The phone will be an Amazon exclusive device.
