Huawei Mate 20 Pro launched in India for Rs. 69,990

Huawei Mate 20 Pro was finally launched in India today. The latest flagship smartphone from Huawei comes with several exciting features. The main highlights of the Mate 20 Pro are its triple rear camera setup and HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset that is industry’s first SoC built on the 7nm process. Moreover, it comes with notch display, in-display fingerprint sensor, and 40W SuperCharge technology.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Price in India

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro price in India has been set at Rs. 69,990 for the only 6GB RAM/128GB storage model. The smartphone is exclusive to Amazon India and will go on sale starting from December 4. There is a special bundled offer for the first sale and buyers will get Sennheiser headphones worth Rs. 29,990 along with the headset at an offer price of Rs. 71,990. There are also some telecom specific offers as well.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro Specifications

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a 6.39-inch QHD+(1440×3120 pixels) curved OLED panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device also sports IP68 certification for dust and water resistance and also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

It is powered by the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC. The octa-core processor is one of the first chipsets built on the 7-nm process and also has two NPUs for AI tasks. It is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a new Nano memory card. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.

In terms of optics, the Mate 20 Pro sports triple rear camera with Leica lenses. It has a 40MP primary wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 20MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a third 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. It sports a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 3D face recognition support.

The device is powered by a 4,200mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge technology. It also supports 15W fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging for other Qi wireless devices. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 LE with aptX, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. It does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
