A new smartphone with the name ‘Xiaomi POCO F2’ was spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench. This suggests that Xiaomi could be working on the successor of the Poco F1. Also, the Geekbench listing of the Poco F2 has also revealed some of its specs like processor, RAM, and OS.
Xioami introduced the Poco sub-brand back in August and the first smartphone from the brand Poco F1 was a popular phone this year. Now, it seems the company is planning the second phone from the new brand.
Poco F2 Expected Specifications
The Poco F2 Geekbench listing reveals that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. It will pack at least 6 GB of RAM. The Poco F1 also features the same processor. Next, the Poco F2 runs Android 9 Pie OS. In the Geekbench test, the handset scored 2321 in the single-core test and 7564 in the multi-core test.
It looks like Poco F2 will come with improvements in display, camera, and battery as it comes with the same processor and RAM as the F1. If we talk about design, the Poco F1 sports a wide notch that houses the front camera and an IR sensor. So, the Poco F2 could come with a smaller notch display.
The company introduced the Poco sub-brand for affordable phones with the flagship level specs. The Poco F1 is still the cheapest phone with Snapdragon 845 chipset. The Poco F1 price in India starts at Rs. 19,999 right now. Since the Poco F2 is powered by the same processor and RAM, it seems that it will also be priced around the same.
Currently, there are no official details regarding Poco F2 is available. But, if this Geekbench listing is really of the Poco F2, we will soon see some official announcement from the company. We will update you the same, stay tuned.
