This year’s CES is all about the most innovative tech you can find. The CES 2019 witnesses foldable smartphones, a watch which doesn’t need charging and even a TV which rolls into a small box. Here is a list of all such incredible tech that you need to know about from one of the most popular tech events of the year.

Alienware Area 51M

Dell has created a laptop which can replace your desktop without losing all that upgradability. Yes, this laptop is upgradeable, and it even comes with a desktop level Intel Core i9 9900 Which is the fastest gaming processor you can buy right now. This monster also runs on the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti mobile graphics which is also user replaceable.

The Alienware Area 51M can run the desktop level performance in this laptop from Dell. The display is a 17.3 inches 1080p panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz with G-Sync enabled. The computer also comes with four DIMM slots which can hold up to 64GB RAM up to 2400 Mhz. The laptop will be priced at a base price of approx 2500 USD.

Dell also has upgraded its Alienware M15 and M17 laptops with an OLED panel and RTX graphics. These upgraded laptops will be available soon to buy with up to Intel Core i9 processor and RTX 2080 mobile graphics.


Matrix Powerwatch 2

Matrix is a smartwatch maker and has unveiled its PowerWatch 2 smartwatch at CES. This watch technically doesn’t need charging at all. This smartwatch comes with almost every feature of a smartwatch or an original fitness band, and it does not require charging at all. This watch charges with the heat generated by the body of the person who is wearing it.

This watch comes with a thermoelectric generator which converts the body heat to electricity and then charges the clock. For idle times, the watch also comes with solar charging as a backup charging solution. The smartwatch features HR monitor, comes with full-colour display, GPS, water resistance and Google Fit integration. The Matrix Powerwatch 2 comes at $200 via the Indiegogo campaign.

World’s First Folding Smartphone

Royale brand came with innovation in the smartphone industry and released a foldable smartphone. The smartphone runs Android OS and can be turned into a full-fledged tablet with no bezel in the centre at all. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

The display on the smartphone is 7.8 inches AMOLED panel with QHD resolution and 2:3 aspect ratio. The smartphone comes with a dual camera setup including a 16MP + 20MP sensor for both sides of the world. The price of the smartphone is set to be $1588 for the 128GB variant and $1759 for the 256GB option.

LG Rollable TV

LG has unveiled its rollable TV at the event which can be rolled into a small box. This TV comes with a 4K resolution panel and it can be rolled into a box. The TV can roll out from the table when you turn it on. LG also has revealed an 8K TV in the event as well which will be infused with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa assistant. The TV will also feature the Apples AirPlay 2 feature for casting the content to the TV.
