HMD Global today launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants in India. The company launched this Android One smartphone in India back in September last year in single 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant. Today the company has launched new 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage versions.

Price, Availability

The Nokia 5.1 Plus 4GB/64GB version is priced at Rs. 14,499 while the 6GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 16,499. The new Nokia 5.1 Plus variants come in Gloss Black, Gloss White and Gloss Midnight Blue colours. The new models will be available online on Nokia.com starting from February 7 and on offline retailers starting from February 12. The old 3GB/32GB version is currently available for Rs. 9999 on Flipkart.

Nokia 5.1 Plus Specifications

If we talk about specs, the Nokia 5.1 Plus sports a 5.86-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor. It is now packed with up to 6GB RAM and up to 64GB storage that is expandable up to 400GB with microSD.

Nokia 5.1 plus

It is an Android One phone and runs stock Android 9.0 Pie. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C. The device packs a 3000mAh battery.

In the camera department, it sports dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and a 5MP secondary camera. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 80.4-degree wide-angle lens. It has a back-mounted fingerprint sensor.
