After several leaks, the Moto G7 series was finally launched in Brazil. The company announced four models in the series dubbed as Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. The Moto G7 and G7 Plus come with waterdrop notch while the G7 Power and G7 Play come with a wide notch.

All the new Motorola phones come with a water-repellent P2i coating body. The three models- Moto G7, G7 Play and G7 Power pack the same hardware while G7 Plus is an upgraded model. They also have different camera specs.

Moto G7 Specifications

The Moto G7 comes with 6.24-inch FHD+ (2270 x 1080 pixels) waterdrop notch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has Snapdragon 632 chipset inside and packs 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB. It runs stock Android 9.0 Pie.

The dual rear camera set up has a 12MP primary camera with Dual LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. It has an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. It also sports 3 microphones and Dolby audio. It gets a 3000mAh battery with 15W Turbocharging support. It comes in Ceramic Black and Clear White colours.

Moto G7 Plus Specifications

The Moto G7 Plus sports 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2270 x 1080 pixels) waterdrop notch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It gets Snapdragon 636 under the hood with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory that is expandable up to 512GB.

In terms of camera, it also has a dual camera set up at the back with a 16MP primary camera with f/1.75 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. It has features like with Dual LED flash and OIS. It has a 12MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It sports Dolby Audio tuned stereo speakers. Connectivity options are 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C. It packs 3,000mAh battery with 27W Turbocharging support. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie. It comes in Deep Indigo and Viva Red colours.

Moto G7 Power Specifications

The Moto G7 Power sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (1570×720 pixels) 19:9 notch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 632 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB. It runs Android 9.0 Pie.

It has a single 12MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.25um pixel size. Up front, it has an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12um pixel size.

Connectivity options are Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The battery centric phone packs a huge 5000mAh battery with 15W Turbocharging support. It comes in Marine Blue colour.

Moto G7 Play Specifications

The Moto G7 Play sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1512×720 pixels) curved glass notch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 632 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage that is expandable up to 128GB. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie.

In the camera section, it has a 13MP single rear camera with features like LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, and PDAF. There is an 8MP front camera with a f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.

Connectivity wise, it supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3000mAh battery with 10W rapid charging support. It comes in Deep Indigo and Starry Black colours.

Price, Availability

The Moto G7 is priced at $299 (Rs. 21,360 approx.). The Moto G7 Plus is priced at €299.99 (Rs. 24,320 approx.). The Moto G7 Power costs $249 (Rs. 17,785 approx.) and lastly the Moto G7 Play is priced at $199 (Rs. 14,215 approx.).

All the Moto G7 series phones will be available in Brazil and Mexico starting from today. The India launch and pricing is not known yet.
